Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Burutu Constituency II, Ward 3, have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Hon. Pereotu Oloye for the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement took place during a well-attended meeting in Tuomo Town, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, where party stakeholders threw their weight behind the trio for the positions of President, Governor, and State House of Assembly member, respectively.
APC national leader, Elder Godsday Orubebe, moved the motion for the adoption, commending the leaders for what he described as impressive performances.
“Today, I’m moving a motion that our Honourable member representing Burutu II Constituency, Hon. Pereotu Oloye, we are adopting him for 2027. We are adopting our governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and we are adopting our President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for 2027. That is my motion, I so submit,” he declared.
The motion was seconded by Chief Mike Loyibo, popularly known as the Prime Minister, who also applauded their achievements.
It was subsequently put to a vote by Burutu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Dr. Julius Takeme, and received overwhelming support with a thunderous chorus of ‘ayes’.
The meeting was also graced by Dr. Kingsley Kuku, former Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), who joined the gathering in a show of solidarity with Burutu APC members.
