MIDTJYLLAND EDGE FOREST IN EUROPA LEAGUE R16 FIRST LEG CLASH.

FC Midtjylland claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the first leg of
their UEFA Europa League round-of-16 clash.
After a tightly contested match at City Ground, the visitors struck late when Cho
Gue-sung rose to head home from Ousmane Diao’s cross.
Forest had earlier threatened through Omari Hutchinson and Morgan Gibbs-White,
but were unable to find the breakthrough.
The defeat extends Forest’s winless run to five matches ahead of next week’s
decisive second leg in Denmark.
