The All Democratic Alliance (ADA) has urged Nigerians, particularly the youth and women to rally behind its mission to “rescue and rebuild” the country, insisting that the two dominant political parties have run out of moral capital to lead.

ADA, which is among the political associations recently shortlisted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for registration as a political party, described itself as the dawn of a new political order.

In a statement issued yesterday by its National Secretary, Umar Ardo, the group said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have “failed woefully” and must not be allowed to retain power after 2027.

“The hour of decision is now. Nigeria cannot afford another wasted election cycle. The recycled politicians of the APC, PDP and their ilk have forfeited every moral right to lead this country. Their continued stranglehold on power is nothing short of a death sentence for our nation,” Ardo declared.

He said ADA represents an opportunity to unite patriotic elites, young Nigerians and women under one political banner to drive a “political renaissance” rooted in justice, innovation, unity and selfless service.

“This is no longer a choice but a duty. To stand aside is to betray Nigeria. To join hands is to save her,” the statement read. “Let history remember us as the generation that rose, united, and gave Nigeria a new lease of life. Let ADA be the standard-bearer of that rebirth.”

Ardo stressed that ADA is not just another political party but a rallying point for citizens who still believe in truth, justice and national renewal.

“Our mission is to salvage democracy and restore trust in governance. We call on all patriots to support ADA, not just to rescue Nigeria, but to make her thrive,” he added.

According to him, ADA’s platform will prioritise youth and women’s participation, offering them a central role in shaping the country’s future.

“That is why we call ADA Nigeria’s Ark of Noah, a vessel to steer the nation out of insecurity, poverty, disunity and hopelessness, toward prosperity, unity and dignity. But the Ark is not yet complete. It needs your hands to build it, your will to steer it and your courage to defend it,” he said, urging Nigerians to support the party’s registration process and its mission to reset the country.
