Nigeria’s top track stars Tobi Amusan, Favour Ofili, and Ese Brume will compete at the 2025 Adidas Atlanta City Games this Saturday, May 17, as confirmed in the updated start lists.
Amusan returns to action in the 100m hurdles after outings in Xiamen and Keqiao, while Ofili will take on the women’s 150m, facing tough opposition including Ashanti Moore and Daryll Neita.
Brume, meanwhile, lines up in the long jump against a strong American field.
The street-style meet at Piedmont Park offers fans up-close access to elite athletics in a festival setting.
Their appearance comes shortly after Nigeria’s withdrawal from the World Relays in Guangzhou, where Amusan and Ofili had been due to compete.
