The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final register of voters for the November 2025 Anambra State governorship election, putting the total number of eligible voters at 2,802,790.

The commission announced the figures in Abuja on Thursday after its weekly meeting, where it reviewed the outcome of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise carried out across the 326 Wards of the state between July 8 and 20.

A statement signed by Sam Olumekun, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, said 168,187 new registrants were captured during the exercise. However, after running the data through the Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS), 27,817 entries were found to be multiple or invalid registrations and consequently removed.
