Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Italy forward Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli on a five-year deal worth €26 million.
The 25-year-old, who began his career at Sassuolo, joined Napoli in 2022 on loan before making the move permanent, helping the club secure back-to-back Serie A titles in his first two seasons.
Raspadori made 88 league appearances for Napoli, scoring 13 goals, though much of his involvement came from the bench.
He was part of Italy’s Euro 2020-winning squad and has netted nine goals in 40 appearances for the national team.
At Atletico, he will add depth and versatility to Diego Simeone’s attacking options as they push for silverware this season.
