Kemi Badenoch Unveils Radical Plan To Deport 150,000 Illegal Migrants Annually

In a major policy announcement at the Conservative Party conference, Kemi Badenoch has unveiled what she calls Britain’s most rigorous immigration reform yet.

The centerpiece of her Radical Borders Plan is the formation of a new “Removals Force,” modelled on the U.S. ICE agency, with the goal of deporting around 150,000 people each year who are residing in the UK illegally.

This proposed force would take over from the current Home Office Immigration Enforcement body, armed with enhanced powers including the deployment of facial recognition technology without prior warning, and stronger collaboration with police forces, who would be obliged to carry out immigration checks during arrests and stops.

Key elements of the plan include banning asylum applications from those who have entered illegally, repealing the Human Rights Act, withdrawing from the European Convention on Human Rights, and removing legal barriers such as judicial reviews and legal aid in immigration cases.

Under the proposals, new illegal arrivals could be deported within a week of entry, and foreign criminals would be swiftly removed.

Badenoch defended the plan by criticizing both Conservative and Labour governments for failing to arrest what she calls the escalating migration crisis: rising illegal crossings, growing asylum accommodation costs, and legal loopholes that delay removals.

She insists the UK needs a clear, credible system that enforces its borders and restores public confidence.

When pressed over where those deported would be sent, Badenoch dismissed the question as “irrelevant,” emphasizing that the priority is ensuring that people unlawfully present in the UK are removed.
