Bayern Munich came from behind to secure a 3-1 win away to Köln in the Bundesliga, extending their unbeaten head-to-head run against Die Geißböcke to 22 matches dating back to 2011.

Köln threatened early and were rewarded before the break when Linton Maina raced through to beat Manuel Neuer, but Serge Gnabry levelled deep into first-half stoppage time.

The champions took control after the interval, with Kim Min-jae heading Bayern in front from close range before Lennart Karl sealed the result late on after good work from Luis Díaz.

The victory moves Bayern to 47 points, an all-time best return at this stage of a Bundesliga season and opens up an 11-point gap over second-placed Borussia Dortmund. Köln, despite an encouraging display, have now lost three of their last four league games.
