Bayern Munich staged a ruthless comeback at the Allianz Arena, overturning a two-goal deficit to hammer Freiburg 6–2 and preserve their perfect home Bundesliga record against the visitors.
Freiburg stunned the champions early, striking twice from set pieces, but Bayern’s response was swift. Lennart Karl halved the deficit before Michael Olise levelled on the stroke of half-time with a fierce effort.
Dayot Upamecano completed the turnaround after the break, Harry Kane added a fourth, and substitute Nicolas Jackson struck Bayern’s fifth.
Olise capped the afternoon with a superb curling finish as the hosts ran riot.
The victory restores Bayern’s momentum after a pre-break draw, while Freiburg suffer only their second loss in 14 matches.
