Bayern Munich’s Champions League hopes took a hit with a 3-0 defeat to Feyenoord, leaving coach Vincent Kompany frustrated after his side dominated possession and created numerous chances.
Despite Bayern registering 32 shots and nearly 70% possession, Feyenoord capitalized on their limited opportunities, with Santiago Gimenez scoring twice before halftime and a third goal sealing the win.
Leroy Sane hit the post, while Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala were denied by Feyenoord’s standout keeper Justin Bijlow.
Kompany admitted Feyenoord deserved the win but lamented his team’s missed opportunities.
Bayern now sit 15th with one match remaining, needing a strong finish to secure knockout qualification.
