Real Madrid made it four wins from four in the UEFA Champions League as Jude Bellingham’s second-half goal sealed a 1–0 victory over Juventus at the Bernabéu.

Xabi Alonso’s side were made to work for it, with Thibaut Courtois keeping them in the game early on by denying Weston McKennie and Federico Gatti.

Real slowly grew into the contest, with Kylian Mbappé missing a golden chance when his effort was blocked by Michele De Gregorio.

Juventus again threatened after the break through Dušan Vlahović, but Madrid struck against the run of play.

Vinícius Júnior’s shot rebounded off the post and into the path of Bellingham, who tapped in for his first goal since June.

Real took control from there, with De Gregorio producing several fine saves to keep the score respectable.

Juventus pushed late on, but Raúl Asencio’s block on Loïs Openda ensured the clean sheet.

The win keeps Real Madrid perfect in Europe and full of confidence ahead of El Clásico, while Juventus remain winless in seven and outside the qualification spots.
