Rapper Blaqbonez has revealed that his greatest fear as an artist is letting down his fans, acknowledging their vital role in shaping his success.

In a recent interview with Amarudontv, the “Like Ice Spice” crooner expressed deep appreciation for his loyal supporters, saying they have been the driving force behind his rise in the music industry.

“I don’t ever want to disappoint my fans,” Blaqbonez said. “I don’t know how many artists can say it’s their fans that got them to where they are, but I’m certain mine did.”

The Chocolate City artist explained that unlike some musicians who gain fame through major endorsements or viral moments, his growth has been grassroots and fan-driven.

“I’ve never been that big publication guy who got placed in the spotlight or went viral overnight,” he noted. “It’s always been me and my fans, just going crazy and getting people’s attention.”

Blaqbonez also opened up about the pressure of meeting fan expectations, revealing that their passion often influences how he interacts on social media.

“I even hesitate to post sometimes because once I do, they’re already on me — ‘Where’s the album?’” he admitted. “So, the way they feel about the album, I want to make sure that when they click play at midnight, they’re as happy as they can be.”

Blaqbonez’s remarks highlight the deep bond between the rapper and his fan base — a connection that continues to fuel his creativity and authenticity in Nigeria’s rap scene.
