Bournemouth Close to Signing Lanus Defender Julio Soler for £6.6M

Bournemouth are on the verge of signing 19-year-old defender Julio Soler from Argentine club Lanus for a reported fee of £6.6 million, according to BBC reports.

The Premier League club, enjoying a strong campaign, aim to solidify their squad as they push for European football next season.

Soler, a Paraguay-born left-back, is highly rated and was reportedly attracting interest from several other clubs before Bournemouth moved to secure the deal.

While considered a talent for the future, the young defender is expected to join the Cherries in the coming days to finalize the transfer.
