Bournemouth have signed Serbian goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from Chelsea in a deal reportedly worth £25 million.
The 25-year-old has signed a contract that runs until June 2030 and joins the Cherries after spending last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
Petrovic made 31 appearances for Chelsea following his move from New England Revolution in 2023, but will now seek regular first-team action at the Vitality Stadium.
“I’m really happy to be here. I came to Bournemouth because I want to grow and I want to play at the best level,” said the Serbia international.
The Cherries, who had Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea last season, needed reinforcements between the posts after Kepa joined Arsenal and Mark Travers moved to Everton.
