FBI agents on Friday morning stormed the Bethesda, Maryland home of former U.S. National Security Adviser, John Bolton, once a top official under Donald Trump but now one of his fiercest critics.

According to the New York Post, which first reported the purported raid, Bolton was being targeted as part of a high-profile national security probe.

Bolton is not being detained or charged with anything, according to the Associated Press. FBI Director Kash Patel appeared to acknowledge the raid on social media Friday morning, writing, “NO ONE is above the law…FBI agents on mission.”

The FBI said it was “conducting court authorized activity in the area” and that there was no public safety threat.
