Bucks General Manager Jon Horst emphasized that Lillard’s health is the top priority and assured fans that doctors consider his condition unlikely to recur.
Lillard’s absence is a major setback for Milwaukee, who currently sit fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.
His situation follows similar cases in the NBA, including Chris Bosh’s career-ending clot diagnosis and Victor Wembanyama’s recent season-ending blood clot issue.
