Chelsea will face either Arsenal or Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup semi-finals following Wednesday’s draw.
The Blues secured their place in the last four with a 3-1 win over Cardiff and will host the first leg at Stamford Bridge.
Holders Newcastle were paired with Manchester City in the other semi-final after edging Fulham 2-1, while City overcame Brentford 2-0.
The final quarter-final between Arsenal and Crystal Palace was postponed to December 23 due to Palace’s UEFA Conference League commitments.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed frustration at the rescheduling but acknowledged Palace’s congested schedule.
The change also saw Arsenal’s Premier League game against Everton brought forward to December 20.
The semi-final first legs will be played in the week commencing January 12, 2026, with the return legs in the week starting February 2. The final will take place at Wembley on March 22.
