Chelsea has announced a pre-tax profit of £128.4 million for the financial year ending June, reversing a £90.1 million loss from the previous year.

The turnaround was largely driven by the transfer of the women’s team to BlueCo, Todd Boehly’s ownership group, along with significant player sales.

The restructuring removed Chelsea Women’s financial losses from the club’s accounts while also bringing in a sum from BlueCo’s acquisition.

Additionally, the club recorded £198.7 million in profits from subsidiary disposals and £152.5 million from player sales.

Despite these gains, Chelsea’s overall revenue fell from £512.5 million to £468.5 million due to the men’s team missing out on Champions League football.

However, broadcasting income rose due to a sixth-place Premier League finish and strong domestic cup performances, alongside increased matchday and commercial revenue.
