The Kansas City Chiefs are one win away from making NFL history after a thrilling 32-29 victory over the Buffalo Bills secured their place in Super Bowl 59.

With the win, the Chiefs became the first back-to-back champions to return to the Super Bowl, marking their fifth appearance in six years.

They will face the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9 in New Orleans, a rematch of Super Bowl 57.

The Eagles, considered slight favorites, dominated the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship game to book their spot in the final.

Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, a frontrunner for the MVP award, once again fell short against Kansas City and their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who led the Chiefs to victory with two crucial late-game drives.

The Chiefs are now on the brink of achieving an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat, a feat never accomplished in NFL history.
