Derek Chisora proved too strong for Otto Wallin, securing a unanimous decision victory in his final fight on UK soil at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.

The veteran heavyweight set the pace early, dropping Wallin twice en route to the win. Judges scored the bout 117-109, 114-112, and 116-110 in Chisora’s favor, taking his record to 36 wins in 49 fights.

“I thought he was going to gas out but he didn’t and I was wrong,” Chisora admitted. “It was a firefight.”

The fight, upgraded to an IBF title eliminator, puts Chisora in line to face either Daniel Dubois or Joseph Parker, who clash on February 22.

A star-studded crowd, including Roberto Duran, Joe Joyce, and Dillian Whyte, witnessed Chisora’s UK send-off.

Post-fight, he was joined in the ring by UK rappers Skepta, Tinie Tempah, and Chipmunk as he called on fans to vote for his 50th opponent—a fight he plans to stage overseas before retiring.

“Legacy isn’t made by me—it is made by the fans,” Chisora said.
