AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze is set to miss at least a month after suffering a hamstring injury during last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Roma.
The Nigerian international, who displayed moments of brilliance in his 62 minutes on the pitch, went down clutching his hamstring following a missed scoring opportunity.

His visible discomfort raised immediate concerns of a muscle tear, which were later confirmed.
An MRI scan revealed a lesion in the left femoral biceps, ruling Chukwueze out of action for January. He has also been excluded from Milan’s squad for the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.
The 24-year-old will undergo another assessment in ten days to monitor his progress. This setback comes as a blow to AC Milan, who will now navigate a busy January schedule without one of their key attacking players.
