Napoli coach Antonio Conte believes his side deserved more after a frustrating 1-1 draw against Udinese on Sunday, but praised his players for their effort as they extended their unbeaten run to nine games.

Napoli dominated the first half and created several chances but failed to capitalize. Scott McTominay’s header gave them the lead, only for Jurgen Ekkelenkamp’s long-range strike to level the match.

“It’s a pity because we deserved more,” Conte told DAZN. “The lads gave everything tonight. This is our ninth game unbeaten, and that is extraordinary.”

Despite missing the chance to extend their lead at the top of Serie A, Napoli remain four points clear of Inter Milan, who have a game in hand.
