Crystal Palace have turned down a transfer offer from Tottenham Hotspur for defender Marc Guehi.
The 24-year-old England international was the subject of a permanent transfer bid from Spurs, but Palace refused to sell. With Guehi’s contract running until 2026, Tottenham and other clubs are expected to return with offers in the summer.
Last year, Newcastle United had four bids rejected for Guehi, the final one reaching up to £65 million with add-ons. Palace head coach Oliver Glasner confirmed at the time that the defender would stay at the club.
Guehi, who joined Palace from Chelsea for £18 million in 2021, has become a key player for both club and country. He featured prominently in England’s run to the 2024 European Championship final and was named Palace captain for the 2024-25 season.
While Palace remain firm on Guehi’s future, they are set to bring in Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell on loan, pending a medical.
