Belgium cruised to a 6-0 win over Kazakhstan in Brussels, with Jeremy Doku producing two goals and an assist to extend the Red Devils’ unbeaten home World Cup qualifying run to 17 matches.
Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring with a superb strike before Doku doubled the lead just before half-time. Nicolas Raskin tapped in a third early in the second half, followed by Doku’s second of the night. Late efforts from De Bruyne and Thomas Meunier completed the rout.
The result lifted Belgium level on points with Wales at the top of Group J, though with a game in hand. Kazakhstan’s hopes of reaching their first World Cup now look increasingly slim.
