Christian Eriksen has completed a move to Wolfsburg on a deal running until 2027 after leaving Manchester United in the summer.
The 33-year-old midfielder made 107 appearances and scored eight goals during three seasons at Old Trafford, where he lifted the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.
Eriksen, who had been training with Malmo since becoming a free agent, said he was eager to embrace the Bundesliga challenge.
“Wolfsburg is my first club in Germany – I’m really looking forward to this new adventure. I immediately sensed the manager has a clear vision, and with several of my Danish teammates already here, it feels like the right fit.”
The former Tottenham, Inter Milan, Brentford and Ajax playmaker, who famously survived a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, now begins a fresh chapter in Germany.
