Brazil snapped Senegal’s 10-match unbeaten streak with a composed 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium, powered by another standout performance from rising star Estevão.

The victory also marked a needed response from the Selecão after a run of shaky friendly results.

Determined to avoid a repeat of their blown two-goal lead against Japan, Brazil started with urgency and carved Senegal open early.

Matheus Cunha came closest, thumping a header off the bar from close range, but it was Estevão who lit up the night.

The 18-year-old delivered the game’s defining moment on 28 minutes, collecting the ball on the edge of the box before curling a superb finish into the far corner.

It was his fourth goal in five caps and another reminder that Brazil’s next great attacking jewel is already maturing fast.

Casemiro doubled the lead before the break, controlling Rodrygo’s free-kick and bending a composed effort into the corner for his third goal in four matches across club and country.

Senegal improved slightly after the restart and nearly punished an Ederson mistake, but Iliman Ndiaye could only strike the post. From there, the match settled into the familiar rhythm of a friendly, with chances drying up and Brazil calmly managing the game.

In the end, Brazil’s young star led the way in a controlled win that halted their recent slide, while Senegal slipped to a third straight friendly defeat.
