Manchester United have added Eberechi Eze and Antoine Semenyo to their shortlist of attacking targets as Tottenham step up their pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo.
United’s attack struggled last season with just 44 league goals, and new manager Ruben Amorim is determined to bolster his forward line.
While Matheus Cunha has already arrived from Wolves, Brentford’s Mbeumo had emerged as a priority target.
But Spurs’ new manager Thomas Frank, who previously coached Mbeumo at Brentford, is reportedly eager to reunite with the Cameroonian and is prepared to meet Brentford’s demands.
Should United miss out, Eze and Semenyo are being considered as alternatives. Eze, 26, had a standout season at Crystal Palace, scoring the winner in the FA Cup final against Manchester City and contributing 16 goal involvements in the league.
