Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo says his side are relishing their surprise push for Champions League qualification after a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in London on Monday.

Early goals from Elliot Anderson and Chris Wood fired Forest back into third place, and despite Richarlison pulling one back late on, the visitors held firm to claim all three points.

“We are in a fight nobody expected, us included,” said Nuno. “But we embrace the challenge.”

Forest now turn their focus to Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City at Wembley, as a remarkable season edges closer to becoming historic.
