Juventus staged a dramatic late comeback to draw 3-3 away at AS Roma, with
Federico Gatti’s stoppage-time strike keeping their UEFA Champions League hopes
alive.
Still reeling from their midweek European exit to Galatasaray, Juve fell behind in an
electric first half as Roma struck through Wesley’s stunning effort after chances at
both ends.
Francisco Conceicao briefly levelled with a thunderous volley moments after the
restart, but Roma regained control.
Evan Ndicka restored the hosts’ lead before Donyell Malen’s delicate dink made it 3-
1 and appeared to seal the contest.
Jeremie Boga sparked hope with his first Juventus goal, finishing at the far post after
a fortunate flick-on.
Then, deep into stoppage time, Gatti fired home from distance following a free-kick
delivery to snatch a crucial point.
The result extends Juventus’ winless league run to four matches, but they remain
within reach of the top four. Roma sit three points clear of fifth-placed Como, while
Juve trails the Giallorossi by four in sixth.
