Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, founder of Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, has announced the launch of Sunday services in Abuja, emphasizing a unique directive: no offerings will be collected.
In a recent online message, Pastor Oyedepo shared this revelation, stating it was based on specific guidance he received from God. In a video released on January 11, he articulated that the primary mission of his ministry is to focus on discipleship and equipping believers to authentically follow Jesus Christ, rather than prioritizing financial contributions.
Regarding church offerings, he expressed, “God gave me specific instructions not to collect offerings.” While acknowledging that many Christian ministries successfully incorporate offerings, Oyedepo reinforced that his focus for this ministry must be solely on the spiritual growth and development of his congregation.
This announcement coincides with the formal commencement of weekly Sunday services in Abuja.
Born on February 26, 1985, Pastor Oyedepo officially launched his independent evangelical ministry on November 28, 2023, following years of dedicated involvement in Christian leadership and outreach.
