Martial Godo scored the decisive goal as Strasbourg secured top spot in their UEFA Conference League group with a 3-1 home win over Breidablik, who were eliminated from the competition.
After Sebastian Nanasi’s early opener, Breidablik briefly threatened an upset through Hoskuldur Gunnlaugsson’s historic equaliser.
However, Strasbourg’s quality told late on as Godo rifled home his fifth goal involvement of the campaign before Julio Enciso wrapped up the win in stoppage time, extending the French side’s unbeaten European home run.
