Rasmus Hojlund scored twice as Napoli earned their first Champions League group stage win with a 2-1 victory over Sporting CP at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
After a quiet start, Kevin De Bruyne sparked the game into life, setting up Hojlund’s opener with a brilliant run and pass.
Matteo Politano nearly added a second, but Rui Silva kept Sporting in it.
The visitors levelled just after the hour mark through a Luis Suarez penalty, after Politano fouled Maximiliano Araujo in the box.
Sporting missed a golden chance to take the lead through Pedro Goncalves, and Napoli made them pay—De Bruyne again assisted Hojlund, who bravely headed home the winner late on.
