“I Should Have Asked for More” — Eucharia Anunobi Opens Up on Huge Payday for Glamour Girls 2

Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi has revealed how she landed the iconic role of Anita in the film Glamour Girls 2 nearly three decades ago, disclosing that the role came with a surprisingly large paycheck.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Anunobi explained that she secured the role after attending an audition and agreeing to portray the unconventional character.

According to the actress, the film’s producer asked her to state how much she wanted to be paid after offering her the role.

“I told him my price and expected him to negotiate, but he accepted it without any negotiation,” she said.

Reflecting on the moment, Anunobi admitted she later regretted not asking for a higher fee, although the amount she received was considered very substantial at the time.

“I regretted not demanding more than what I demanded, though it was huge money at that time. I mean big money,” she said.

She further claimed that the payment she received for Glamour Girls 2 was so significant that some actors in the industry today still earn less than that amount.

“The money they paid me for Glamour Girls Part 2, some people are not collecting it today. I say it, and I beat my chest,” she added.

However, when pressed by co-host Husband Material to disclose the exact figure, the actress declined to reveal the amount.
