Afrobeats sensation Omah Lay has candidly shared insights into his emotional and spiritual state, revealing that while he feels deeply at peace and elevated, he is not yet ready for fatherhood or romantic entanglements.

The Rivers State-born singer, whose real name is Stanley Omah Didia, expressed his thoughts in a series of reflective Snapchat posts that have sparked conversations online.

“I’m very much not ready to be a baby daddy but I’m their father — their father in the highest, at peace in Heaven blowing clean Canada,” he wrote, describing a state of calm detachment and self-assured peace.

Omah Lay further explained his sense of emotional stillness, noting that while life continues to unfold around him, he feels largely unaffected. “Everything happens but nothing ever happens to me. I don’t expect you to understand but…” he added.

The Holy Ghost crooner also revealed he misses a Yoruba woman he once had feelings for, admitting that while he’s drawn to Yoruba women, excessive attention or emotional intensity often turns him off.

“I miss my Yoruba girl bad. I like them, but when e too plenty e dey turn me off. Yeah, I got no girls. It has become a boring activity of late,” he wrote.

Currently single, Omah Lay hinted that love and dating have lost their excitement for him, choosing instead to focus on his inner peace and personal evolution.
