Newcastle striker Alexander Isak has addressed speculation about his future while on international duty with Sweden, reiterating his commitment to the Magpies.

The 24-year-old played a key role in Newcastle’s historic Carabao Cup triumph, scoring the second goal in their 2-0 win on Sunday, securing the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.

Speaking to the media, Isak dismissed talk of a move away, saying:

“There’s not much to say, really. I’ve spoken about my situation and how secure I feel at Newcastle several times. It’s well known how much I love the city and the club.”

The Swedish forward also emphasized his focus on helping Newcastle push for a Champions League spot, rather than thinking about future transfers.

“Now we’ve won the cup, but we want to finish strong and reach the Champions League. That’s where my focus lies.”

Reflecting on his Wembley triumph, Isak described the experience as indescribable:

“It’s an incredible feeling. Wembley packed with Newcastle fans – it’s something you can only imagine. I haven’t been back to the city yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing the celebrations.”

With his performances catching attention across Europe, Newcastle fans will be relieved to hear their record signing remains committed to the club’s ambitious future.
