Alex Iwobi starred with a goal and assist as Fulham came from behind to beat Brentford 3-1 at Craven Cottage, securing back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since February.

Brentford struck first when Mikkel Damsgaard punished a loose pass with a clinical finish, but Fulham responded with spirit.Iwobi levelled with a smart first-time strike before setting up Harry Wilson’s sweeping effort just moments later.

The turnaround was complete early in the second half as Ethan Pinnock turned Ryan Sessegnon’s cross into his own net.Rodrigo Muniz thought he had added a fourth, only for VAR to rule out his thunderous strike for a foul, while Dango Ouattara came closest to sparking a Brentford revival with a deflected shot over the bar.

Fulham, though, managed the closing stages comfortably to climb into seventh place. The win marked only Fulham’s third victory in their last eight London derbies, while Brentford suffered consecutive league defeats at Craven Cottage for the first time since 1954, leaving them 17th after three losses in five games.
