KANE FIRES WARNING AS BAYERN SET UP REAL MADRID SHOWDOWN.
Harry Kane insists Bayern Munich have nothing to fear ahead of their Champions
League quarter-final clash with Real Madrid.
Kane scored twice in a 4-1 win over Atalanta, sealing a dominant 10-2 aggregate
victory to book Bayern’s place in the last eight.
“We don’t fear anyone,” the England captain said. “We know it’ll be tough… but we
just need to keep doing what we’re doing.”
The striker’s brace took him to 50 Champions League goals, while his remarkable
season tally now stands at 47 in 39 games.
Bayern boss Vincent Kompany expects a high-level contest, saying, “Both clubs are
giants… when the level goes higher, then they get better. I’m expecting an absolute
top game.”
Kane added that Bayern have learned from past defeats to Madrid, noting, “You have
to be ready for a fight… and we’ll be ready for that.”
With both European heavyweights in strong form, a blockbuster tie now awaits.
