Lagos State Local Government Election Gains Momentum

As the Lagos state local government election gains momentum, the Beacon NG newspaper will continue to publish a series on the topic of “Grassroots Governance: Your Voice, Your Choice” every Friday. Be sure to look out for Part 2 this Friday 20th June, 2025, along with additional instalments leading up to Election Day on July 12, 2025. Our special focus will be on candidates competing for office in Eti Osa Local Government and LCDAs.

Election into the Office(s) of Chairmen and Councillors of Twenty (20) Local Government Areas, Thirty-Seven (37) Local Council Development Areas and Three Hundred and Seventy-Six (376) Wards of Lagos State shall be held on Saturday, 12th July, 2025.
