Leeds United surged out of the relegation zone with a fierce 3–1 win over Chelsea at Elland Road, a result that dents the Blues’ title push and ends the hosts’ four-game losing streak.
Jaka Bijol opened the scoring inside five minutes, turning in Anton Stach’s whipped corner.
Chelsea struggled to settle and Leeds nearly doubled the lead soon after, with Pascal Struijk heading wide from another set piece.
The Blues finally grew into the game, but sloppy play cost them just before the interval. Enzo Fernández lost possession and Ao Tanaka punished it with a blistering strike from the edge of the box.
Chelsea threatened a comeback early in the second half, with Robert Sánchez denying Lukas Nmecha before a sharp move saw Jamie Gittens pick out Pedro Neto, who finished to make it 2–1.
Cole Palmer’s return off the bench raised hopes further, but he dragged his effort wide from Alejandro Garnacho’s cross.
Leeds killed the contest late on after Tosin Adarabioyo’s error allowed Noah Okafor to square for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who tapped in to seal a deserved victory. Chelsea have now won just six of their 49 league visits to Elland Road.
