Robert Lewandowski struck a stunning hat-trick as Barcelona ended their four-game winless run away from home with a 4-2 victory over Celta Vigo in LaLiga.
Barca took the lead through Lewandowski’s early penalty after Marcos Alonso handled Fermin Lopez’s shot, but Sergio Carreira quickly levelled for the hosts.
The first half continued at a frantic pace, with Lewandowski restoring Barcelona’s lead before Borja Iglesias responded with a superb first-time finish.
Lamine Yamal then smashed home on the stroke of half-time to put the visitors 3-2 ahead.
Barcelona controlled proceedings after the break, dictating tempo and territory, and eventually sealed the win when Lewandowski headed in from Marcus Rashford’s corner to complete his hat-trick.
Frenkie de Jong’s stoppage-time red card did little to spoil a statement result for Hansi Flick’s men, who moved within three points of Real Madrid following Los Blancos’ slip at Rayo Vallecano.
Celta’s five-game winning run came to an end, leaving them 13th in the standings.
