LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Appoints New Directors

The management of LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Plc has announced the appointment of new directors.

A notice sent to the Nigerian Security Exchange (NSE) on Monday, and signed by the bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Olumide Adedeji, said the appointments take effect from March 21, 2025.

The new directors include:

Timothy Gbadeyan – Executive Director

Dr. Gbadebo Ayinde – Executive Director

Hon. Olusola Ogungbile – Non-Executive Director

Adeola Olajide – Non-Executive Director

Olanrewaju Afolabi – Non-Executive Director

Adedoyin Amosun – Independent Non-Executive Director

Dr. Kamaldeen Adekilekun – Independent Non-Executive Director

Michael Omolaja – Independent Non-Executive Director

Before his appointment, Mr. Timothy Gbadeyan was the Company Secretary/Group Head, Legal and Corporate Strategy. Timothy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Ilorin, after which he attended the Nigerian Law School.

He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from UCAM University, Spain.

He also holds a PGD in General Administration from Cambridge International Qualifications, United Kingdom.

He is a Certified Project Management Professional and an Associate Member of the Chartered Management Institute, United Kingdom.

He will serve as the Executive Director in charge of Mortgage Services.

Dr. Gbadebo Ayinde has an extensive experiential background in town planning and the built sector. He holds an HND in Town Planning from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and a Master’s Degree from the Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye.

He obtained his PhD from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He also holds a Certificate in Project Management.

Between 2003 and 2007, he served as a Member of the House of Representatives, where he was the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Works.

He will serve as the Executive Director in charge of the Public Sector Group of the Bank.

The non-executive directors include Hon. Olusola Ogungbile. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and has about 20 years banking experience. He currently serves as the Commissioner for Finance, Osun State while Adeola Olajide, who holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK was formerly a Partner at PWC (PricewaterHouseCoopers). Other approved board members include Olanrewaju Afolabi, who has over 20 years experience in Mortgage Banking and holds a degree in Economics.

The Independent non-executive directors include Adedoyin Amosun, a Chartered Accountant with 27years of experience and a former Associate Director at PWC (PricewaterHouseCoopers), while Dr Kamaldeen Adekilekun has a PhD in Law and over 20 years of experience.

Michael Omolaja, a former General Manager at FirstBank, has over 30 years of experience. He holds a Masters in Intelligence and Strategic Studies.

Similarly, Dorcas Oluwaseun Ajayi has been appointed as the Acting Company Secretary/Head, Legal Services of the Bank. Dorcas has over 17 years of post-call experience and has worked as in-house counsel at the senior level for almost 10 years.
