Transfer negotiations between Inter Milan and Atalanta for Nigerian star Ademola Lookman remain unresolved, with the Bergamo club sticking to their €50m price tag despite Inter’s improved bid of €42m plus €3m in add-ons.
Talks continued during Tuesday’s Lega Serie A meeting in Milan, where Inter president Beppe Marotta and Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi were both present.
Despite the ongoing dialogue, Atalanta are yet to receive a formal written offer, holding out for their full asking price for the 2024 African Player of the Year.
Inter are reportedly considering raising their proposal to €45m plus €5m in bonuses to seal the deal in the coming days, as Marotta hinted a resolution is near.
