Paris Saint-Germain’s unbeaten Ligue 1 run continued, but their push for history took a dent after a 1-1 draw at relegation-threatened Nantes on Saturday night.
Vitinha gave the champions a deserved lead in the first half, finishing off a smart pass from Lee Kang-In. But despite dominating large periods of the game, PSG couldn’t put it to bed.
Nantes, who failed to register a shot on target before the break, came alive in the second half and were rewarded when Douglas Augusto smashed home a stunning equaliser in the 83rd minute.
Goalkeeper Patrik Carlgren, filling in for the injured Anthony Lopes, was superb for the hosts, pulling off multiple key saves to keep PSG at bay.
The result moves Nantes four points clear of the relegation play-off zone, while PSG stretch their unbeaten league run to 30 wins and 9 draws from their last 39 away matches.
