NEM Insurance Plc announced the appointment of Mr Adeyemi Mayadenu as the Executive Director (Technical) with effect from June 19th, 2024, following approval from the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
Mr. Mayadenu is a versatile Insurance practitioner with vast experience in technical, business development, and product development, with great marketing acumen in the insurance business.
He has attended several courses (home and abroad) in Insurance, Marketing, Strategy, Management, and Leadership, including certification in Leadership Management from Corporate Coach Group, Gloucester in the United Kingdom.
In 2016, he was elevated to the position of Deputy General Manager and was transferred to the Head Office as Head of Strategy and Business Development, and later as the Head, Strategy and Systems Department, where he supervised the company’s strategy, business development, and ICT Units. In addition to these roles, Mr. Mayadenu, following NAICOM’s approval, was also appointed by the Company as the Chief Compliance Officer.
Mr. Mayadenu is a member of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (CIN), an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) and Chairman, Risk, Audit and Compliance Committee of Nigerian Insurers Association, between 2020 and 2024.
