NETO NETS THREE AS CHELSEA CRUISE INTO FA CUP FIFTH ROUND.
Pedro Neto struck a fine hat-trick as Chelsea FC eased past Hull City 4-0 at the MKM Stadium
to book their place in the FA Cup fifth round.
The Portugal winger broke the deadlock in the 40th minute, curling a precise left-footed effort
into the far corner after a slick Chelsea move.
He doubled the lead five minutes after the restart in bizarre fashion, his inswinging corner
evading everyone, including goalkeeper Dillon Phillips, bouncing through his legs into the net.
Teenager Estevao made it three on 59 minutes after strong hold-up play from Liam Delap, who
then turned provider again as Neto completed his first senior career hat-trick with a composed
low finish 19 minutes from time.
Chelsea had threatened long before the opener, while Hull struck the post late through Lewis
Koumas, but the tie was effectively settled once Neto found his rhythm.
The eight-time FA Cup winners now await their fifth-round opponents as focus now shifts to
league action with Burnley visiting next Saturday.
