Nottingham Forest strengthened their push for the UEFA Europa League knockout rounds with a comfortable 3-0 win over Malmö, extending their unbeaten home run under Sean Dyche to four matches.
Forest started brightly, with Arnaud Kalimuendo and Ryan Yates both testing Melker Ellborg before Yates fired the opener midway through the first half.
Kalimuendo finally broke his scoring drought just before the interval, reacting quickest to a rebound to double the advantage.
Any hope of a Malmö revival faded moments into the second half when Nikola Milenkovic bundled in Forest’s third after another Yates effort caused chaos in the box.
Callum Hudson-Odoi struck the bar soon after, but Forest had already done enough.
A late injury to Murillo was the only concern on an otherwise dominant night, as Forest climbed to 16th in the league phase. Malmö, with just one point, are on the brink of elimination.
