Ile Ife, Nigeria – The Chemical Engineering Department of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is set to commemorate a significant milestone as it celebrates 55 years of impactful existence. The department will host a momentous event, featuring a book launch and the unveiling of a five-billion-naira (N5 billion) endowment fund, on Saturday June 28, 2025. This landmark occasion will take place at the Design Studio Auditorium, African Centre of Excellence, OAU, Ile Ife.

Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe, the esteemed CEO of Green Energy International, will chair the event, bringing his wealth of experience and insights to the proceedings.

Highlighting the day’s significance, His Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, will grace the occasion as the royal father of the day.
