First Lady Tinubu Celebrates Hilda Baci For Setting New Guinness World Record

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated celebrity chef Hilda Baci for earning her second Guinness World Record, this time for cooking the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.

In a statement from Abuja, Mrs. Tinubu commended Baci’s creativity, determination, and resilience, calling the achievement “a source of national pride.”

She said Baci’s accomplishment highlights the potential of young Nigerian women who continue to break barriers and inspire others.

Guinness World Records confirmed that Baci prepared an incredible 8,780 kilograms of jollof rice during the event held in Victoria Island, Lagos. 

This recognition adds to her 2023 achievement, when she captured global attention with the longest cooking marathon.
