Osasuna’s Late Equalizer Denies Mallorca Much-Needed Win

OSASUNA

Mallorca’s struggles continued as they extended their winless streak to six games after a dramatic 1-1 draw with Osasuna at Son Moix.

A lackluster first half saw both defenses dominate, with Osasuna’s Flavien Boyomo missing a golden chance from close range, while his defensive heroics denied Vedat Muriqi at the other end.

Mallorca showed more urgency after the break, and Muriqi eventually broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 81st minute after being fouled in the box.

However, just as Mallorca looked set for their first win of the year, Boyomo redeemed himself in stoppage time, bundling home a late equalizer to secure a point for Osasuna.

The result keeps both sides level in midtable, with Osasuna extending their unbeaten league run to four games
