Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson in a club-record £35 million move.

The 24-year-old Wales international has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and could make his debut in Sunday’s Premier League clash against Newcastle.

Johnson said he was excited to begin a new chapter, describing Palace as a club he has long admired and one heading in the right direction.

He joined Tottenham from Nottingham Forest in 2023 for £47.5 million and finished last season as Spurs’ top scorer with 18 goals, including the winner in the Europa League final against Manchester United that ended the club’s 17-year trophy drought.

However, opportunities were limited this season under Thomas Frank, with Johnson starting just six league matches.

At international level, he has won 42 caps for Wales and scored seven goals.
